Easy Vodka Spritz Recipe for Summer Drinking

Summer time drinking invites cool and refreshing drinks that are easy to make at home.

Vodka Spritz Recipe

The Vodka Spritz is an easy drink to remember. No shaking, throwing or stirring while counting to 50. It’s all about equal parts of vodka and Lillet Blanc topped with equal parts of soda water and tonic water. Lillet Blanc adds citrus and herbal notes to the vodka and the soda water softens the bitterness of the tonic. To garnish, let your imagination run wild. We used a ruby red grapefruit wedge and a sprig of thyme. You can also use blood oranges when in season and other herbs.

The vodka spritz is an ideal drink to sip in the afternoon, as a sundowner, as an aperitif, at a BBQ and when friends drop in.
