The St-Germain cocktail is the brand’s signature drink, an elegant aperitif and spritzer style of drink made with Prosecco and sparkling water.
St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur is an artisanal French liqueur made from elderflowers that are harvested in the Alps during a brief period of four and six weeks in the spring. The flowers are handpicked and transported to the distillery by bicycles as time is crucial – once the elderflower blossoms are picked, they quickly lose their aroma and flavour.
Each bottle of St‑Germain Elderflower Liqueur is individually numbered to reflect the year in which the flowers were picked. The production involves rapid and continuous maceration of the elderflower blossoms but the rest of the process remains a secret.
Sweet, lightly floral and aromatic, the flavour of St-Germain combines pears, peaches and grapefruit in an elegant liqueur that can sipped on ice or used in a variety of cocktails. The St-Germain cocktail is the brand’s signature drink, an elegant aperitif and spritzer style of drink made with Prosecco and sparkling water. St-Germain can brighten up a simple gin and tonic with subtle floral and sweet notes, goes well in a Gimlet and can be used as a substitute for vermouth in a twist on the Martini.
