The Reverse Vesper Martini is a variation on the Vesper Martini which was made famous by James Bond in Casino Royale.
The drink reverses the ratios by making Lillet Blanc the main ingredient which gives the drink more wine and botanical notes. The result is an aperitif style cocktail that’s light to sip with a lower alcohol.
While Martinis are traditionally stirred, we stayed with James Bond’s method by shaking the drink.
Reverse Vesper Martini Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients
- 60 ml Lillet Blanc
- 20 ml vodka
- 10 ml London dry gin
Glassware: Martini glass
Garnish: lemon peel
Method
Add all ingredients to a shaker filled with ice and shake until cold. Double strain into a chilled Martini glass and garnish with lemon peel.
