Outback Galah Cocktail

The Amaro Week cocktail series continues with the Outback Galah using an Australian Amaro.

Outback Galah Cocktail

From Adelaide Hills Distillery in Australia comes a small batch bitter orange aperitif inspired by the classic aperitifs of Italy. The Italian “Bitter Orange” is made from Riverland orange, riberries, native thyme, sunrise lime and quandong. The flavour is predominantly bitter orange, fruity and citrus forward with a tart and herbal note. ⠀

The Outback Galah is a riff on the Jungle Bird using spirits from opposite ends of the country: Iridium Gold Rum from Mt Uncle Distillery in Cairns & The Italian Bitter Orange from the Adelaide Hills.

For more information about amari, refer to the Essential Guide to Amaro.
