With autumn well and truly settled in, it’s time to try a different take on popular classic whiskey cocktail.
A riff on the classic whiskey sour, the Maple Whiskey Sour swaps the simple syrup for maple syrup while the rosemary adds pine-like aromas and a woody earthiness to the drink.
Maple Whiskey Sour Recipe
- 60ml bourbon
- 30 ml lemon juice
- 15 ml maple syrup
- 2 rosemary sprigs (1 for garnish)
Glassware: rocks glass
Garnish: rosemary sprig
In a cocktail shaker, muddle rosemary leaves with bourbon, lemon juice and maple syrup. Shake with ice. Double strain into a chilled rocks glass. Garnish with sprig of rosemary.
