The Australian Bar Awards 2019 were held last night at Doltone House in Pyrmont with bar industry professionals from all over the country in attendance. Now in its 19th year, the awards are presented by Australian Bartender Magazine with the top 8 finalists of Bartender of the Year competing on stage.

The Baxter Inn in NSW took out the coveted Bar of the Year award and Alex Gondzialis from Bulletin Place NSW won Bartender of the Year for 2019. Anton Forte and Jason Scott were the joint recipients of the Outstanding Contribution Award.
